IMPERIAL STOUT (2017)

Bourbon Barrel Aged

A big beer aged in barrels from Willett Distillery, Bardstown, Kentucky. It is unmistakably bourbon on the nose with oak, vanilla, light coconut highlights. A big, dark, beautiful beer.

Aroma: Oak, Vanilla, Coconut

Hops: Fuggles

IMPERIAL STOUT (2017)

AquaVit Barrel Aged

‘Complex’ does not do this beer justice! This stout was aged in barrels first used for Oloroso sherry before being sent to Linie in Norway to be filled with AquaVit. The barrels then spent four months on an ocean journey crossing the equator twice, resulting in a beverage that is quite literally matured at sea.

Aroma: Caraway, Star Anise

Hops: Fuggles

Bourbon Barrel Aged – Coffee

Roasted Nicaraguan Las Delicias coffee beans from our friends at Coffee Supreme, provide the backdrop for this wonderful beer. Beans roasted at two different temperatures before blending into the beer make for a wonderfully complex nose and flavour.

Bourbon Barrel Aged – Fig & Maple

Smoked figs from the Shouman family gardens were added to the barrel and after a secondary fermentation, the beer was then blended with some maple, to create a subtle, dessert-like imperial stout. Light maple, smoke, vanilla, and oak flavours merge together to create this stout of epic proportions.

BARLEYWINE (2016)

Bourbon Barrel Aged

Bourbon oak character, caramel, and an assertive hop bitterness which will mellow with ageing. It’s big, boozy, and chewy. This beer is designed to be cellared for 5+ years.

Bourbon Barrel Aged

Aged in Wild Turkey and Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels. Layers of mocha and roasted malt with notes of marshmallow, oak, and vanillin.
Big, dark, and beautiful.
