Inspired by Lebanese coffee or Kahwa as it is known in Arabic, this beer is made from selected Coffee and Cardamom, rich luscious Imperial Stout, and Bourbon barrels, to make a beautiful beer big on Bourbon with warm hints of the Middle East.

Barleywine (2018)


Alc/Vol 11.2%

Perhaps one of the oldest styles of beer in human history, Barleywines were mentioned by ancient Greek historians Xenophon and Polybius centuries before their modern day versions existed. Our version is big with rich sweet candy and hints of caramel on the nose.

Aquavit Barrel Aged - Dubbel (2018)


Alc/Vol 11.0%

The term dubbel is rooted in a Belgian Trappist beer naming convention which can be traced back to 1856. This brown ale has been aged in Aquavit barrels to produce a complex beer.

Rum Barrel Aged - Imperial Stout (2018)

A rich Imperial Stout aged in rum barrels to give aromas of vanilla and freshly cut wood with smooth molasses and a warming spirit on the palate.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Ale (2018)

This Old Ale is a nod to the type of beer brewed before the Industrial Revolution. Brown in colour with delicate hints of Vanilla, light toast, Bourbon, and smooth sweet malt, this beer aged on wood for 10 months.

Aquavit Barrel Aged Wheatwine (2018)

Alc/Vol 13.0%

This is an American strong ale, with a big portion of wheat in its grain bill, and that was aged in Scandinavian Aquavit barrels. This beer is a collaboration with CRUX Fermentation Project.

A trans-Tasman collaboration between three of Australia and New Zealand’s most loved breweries has produced this delicious sour raspberry IPA, with a touch of lactose for a bit of je ne sais quoi.

The second in our Hop IPA Series is a celebration of independence and South African hops Southern Star, Southern Dawn, and African Queen are the rare hops from South Africa that form the backbone of this beer. After the mega-beer merger recently, access to these hops has been greatly restricted.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout (2017)

A big beer aged in barrels from Willett Distillery, Bardstown, Kentucky. It is unmistakably bourbon on the nose with oak, vanilla, light coconut highlights. A big, dark, beautiful beer.

Aquavit Barrel Aged Imperial Stout (2017)

Alc/Vol 12.4%

‘Complex’ does not do this beer justice! This stout was aged in barrels first used for Oloroso sherry before being sent to Linie in Norway to be filled with AquaVit. The barrels then spent four months on an ocean journey crossing the equator twice, resulting in a beverage that is quite literally matured at sea.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout (2017) (fig & maple)

Alc/Vol 11.0%

Smoked figs from the Shouman family gardens were added to the barrel and after a secondary fermentation, the beer was then blended with some maple, to create a subtle, dessert-like imperial stout. Light maple, smoke, vanilla, and oak flavours merge together to create this stout of epic proportions.

Roasted Nicaraguan Las Delicias coffee beans from our friends at Coffee Supreme, provide the backdrop for this wonderful beer. Beans roasted at two different temperatures before blending into the beer make for a wonderfully complex nose and flavour.

The first in our hop IPA series is a collaboration with Barth Haas, showcasing one of our favourite hops from Germany – Mandarina Bavaria, coupled with Tradition, Hersbrucker & Magnum. Expect big tangerine, orange peel and citrus from this one.
