Sad Songs & Maltses is our latest experimental foray, delving into malt profiles and assessing how each of three feature malts (Pale, Wheat, & Rye) interact differently with a duo of Cascade and Citra hops. Each should bring its own personality, but will they tease out different hop and yeast characters?

Pale Malt is a cornerstone for many beers, lending a lean and understated profile that makes room for other components like hops, special malts, and yeasts to use their voice.
