FAQ's

Hawkers Stout collection explores rich, dark beer styles including classic stouts, imperial stouts and barrel-aged releases.

Expect layers of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cacao, caramel, vanilla and toasted malt. Richer releases can develop deeper dessert-like flavours from barrel ageing and specialty ingredients.

A traditional stout is a dark beer style brewed with roasted malts, creating rich flavours of coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa and toasted grains. Its deep colour and roasted character come from the use of darker malts. A White Stout takes the flavour inspiration of a classic stout and approaches it in a completely different way. Instead of relying on dark roasted malts for colour, White Stouts use ingredients like coffee, cacao, vanilla and specialty malts to create the familiar rich, dessert-like flavours of a stout while remaining pale in colour.

Stout beers are defined by roasted malt flavours including coffee, cocoa and caramelised grain. Hawkers stouts are brewed in Melbourne and designed for depth, balance and drinkability.
