From Yeast to West is exactly that—a careful, controlled examination of how three different yeasts attenuate the same base beer, what nuances each bring to the table and how they affect the final product. Featuring Yakima Chief YCH 701 Trial Idaho 7 hops, we’ll see how US-05 yeast interacts with the characteristics of the hop along with the base ingredients of this West Coast IPA in comparison to Kveik and Thiolised yeasts.
